Ron Hicks 1928 – 2017

Ron Hicks died peacefully on Saturday, September 16. He was well known in our church for his generosity and for his talent making beautiful wood pieces, from lamps and tables to Lazy Susans and cutting boards, many of which he gratiously donated to the church. Visitation will be held at the C. Stuart Sykes Funeral Home at 91 Division Rd. S. in Kingsville from noon to 2 PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, followed by a funeral service. Fran shares a few thoughts on rest and renewal and on the return to Olinda’s programme year. At this Intergenerational Service, all are invited to bring a small sample of water and a few words to share about how this water might inspire your plans and purpose as we return to fall routines. JEFF BROWN, long-time parish minister at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga, now serving as a Chaplain at the Trillium Hospital there. Rev.
