WED JUNE 1, 2016: Special Workshop at UU Church of Olinda

The topic? SEEING MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE

About the SKILLS to make space for SEEING with humor, compassion, openness,
imagination, and enthusiasm. We will discuss not only SEEING the obvious and
making judgments, but also ways we can learn to see behaviours and communication
in a different way.

The discussion leader? Sister Eleanor McCloskey, a distinguished teacher, pastoral
caregiver, and community activist, living in Fredericton , New Brunswick , but
educated in Windsor. Eleanor was awarded an honorary degree from St.
Thomas University in Fredericton during spring convocation in 2015. She
was awarded the Peace Medallion a few years ago for her extensive
volunteer work with people, in particular with cancer survivor groups.

The schedule?
6:30 PM: Gather for Meet ‘n’ Greet
7 – 8 or 8:30 PM: Discussion and Workshop

All are welcome, both men and women.
Tea and cookies will be served in the library or around the kitchen table.
